Huachun Staff Chorus Perform Well in Finals

    Publicity Department of CPC Urumqi Municipal Committee, municipal Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as Cultural Bureau co-sponsored the “Tianshan Melody” Urumqi Enterprise Staff Singing Contest themed by “usher in the 18th CPC National Congress and sing songs to the Party”. The final enterprise group competition was held in People’s Park in the morning of August 23rd.
    The Municipal Chamber of Commerce and Industry selected Huachun Investment Group from many non-public enterprises in Urumqi to participate the competition. Huachun attached great importance to this campaign and organized 80 staff members to form a chorus. There were 8 groups in the enterprise finals, 5 of which are state-owned enterprises and 3 of which are non-public. All the groups invited professional choruses or singers except Huachun. After an elaborate organization and careful rehearsal, Huachun chorus performed two songs. One is Waling in the Sunshine, and the other is Walking to the Renaissance. Through these songs, they showed both their love for the country and the Party and their good spiritual outlook. The result of the competition will be published in September when the prize presentation is carried out. It is believed that the Huachun chorus will achieve a good result.
